On Saturday the weather was so nice so we went for a drive with the windows down and the radio up. We ended up at Sea.Center.Texas. Free admission, cool fish aquariums, and a fish hatchery tour. It was pretty good for just stumbling upon it.
I think Dean is just realizing how much things with my body are going to change...no, not like THAT! I mean with my bladder. I have been known as Super Bladder. Able to hold it 6 hours en route to LA for a family reunion. Well, on our little day trip, we stopped at multiple Buccee's stations. And after like the 3rd one, he was like, "Seriously? What happened to Super Bladder?" Hello? There is a little peanut growing in there on top of it, causing everything to be squished around!
Also, I think I had my first craving on Saturday night. After we got home, I REALLY, REALLY wanted some fried pickles from Hoo.ters. There isn't a Hoo.ters anywhere near us so Dean said he could make some for me. He has made some before and they were quite yummy. So he made a plateful and gave me a side of ranch and I cuddled up on the couch with them. He had moved his drink to my end of the couch and then was like, "Uh, are you eating those by yourself?" OOPS. I thought I was....so we shared....And then he had to make more. :-)
Love you Honey!

8 nice things to say...:
Welcome to the TWBC (Teeny Weeny Bladder Club!) I learned where every clean bathroom was in my neighborhood when I was pregnant and you will too! Fried pickles, what a Guy!
Sounds like a nice trip. I love sea life. And what a good hubby. Mone is just learning that i need my sleep.
Mmm... fried pickles...
Have you ever had the fried pickles from the 'Potatoe Patch' on FM 1960? Their food's amazing, or at least it was the last time I went. :)

If y'all ever get the urge to go there, give me a yell!
Never been to Potatoe Patch, but I think there's one in Lufkin? Or I'm thinking of Cotton Patch... I'll have to check it out for sure!
Yeah...Cotton Patch is Lufkin. Potato Patch is in Spring and is where they throw the rolls to you. Great food at both.
And fried pickles? I'm with you, my friend. Let's go!
Ah yes, the first trimester pee-a-thon. It will ease up a bit come second trimester. Until the baby uses your bladder as a trampoline!
I must learn how your wonderful husband makes fried pickles. Yum!
Pee away and enjoy it!
The recipe is - hamburger dill slices, corn meal and corn starch!
