Kimbosue's Blog has MOOOOOVED!

**As of November 9, 2009, please find me at my new home below.**

Some posts are pw protected, so for the super secret decoder pen....ahem... code, please email me at kimbosue2 AT hotmail DOT com.

This blog will remain open. The link is still tied to lots of IF blogs, groups, and websites. I hope someone can read through my journey and find hope and strength and know that there is a light at the end of the IF tunnel. Prayer is the key! I love all my IF girlies I met along the way, and I hope to keep your friendships going forward during this next chapter of Mommyhood. I hope to see you there!

BBQ & Margaritas!

Today starts Co.ok O.ff at Tom Bass Park. It's a BBQ cook off that raises money to pay for the July 4th fireworks display in the area. There are about 75 cook teams this year. My friend, D, and myself are on the committee. Unlike other rodeos with cook offs which have a committee per function, there is only 1 team for this cook off and we do it all! From sponsorships, to ice runs, to BBQ/margarita judging. We'll be there all weekend, starting today around 1. Maybe some of you can come out and enjoy the festivities!

When we started talking to Dr. H about IUI #2, I was looking at my calendar and just KNEW that SBCO week was going to be the week it happened. I am both happy and sad because I REALLY wanted to judge margaritas! But I REALLY want a baby more! Oh well, there's always next year! I'll just be toting my Bubba Keg of Iced Tea around with me!

Here's to a fabulous weekend!

Grateful for:

  • Iced Tea by the keg full
  • Co.ok O.ff
  • Awesome weather this weekend!

4 nice things to say...:

Well, just think how cool it would be to be toting a baby on your hip and a margarita in your hand at the BBQ next year! Here's hoping you get that BFP!

Oh the sacrifices we make. The margheritas will be waiting for you to celebrate with! Have fun this weekend!

We wish you great happiness with the new life that sprung in to your life. Whats Their Name Kookers would just like to see you next year. You must stop by in 09. We placed 2nd place with a wonderful twist to the margaritas. Just ask the judges who we are. We are the team that threw rose pedals and had the judges sit under a chandelier for the Chefs choice. Again take care and visit our site.

Hello Kim, I believe I remember seeing the blue buba keg now that I am still recovering from this weekend. You came by and watched us slice our competition brisket. It was a pleasure to meet you and just out of curiosity did you get to try our margaritas? reply back when you get time on our site.

Also, did I understand correctly that you just had a baby? If so what is her or his name?
